Please make sure you download the latest version of Blue Iris. The latest version can be found on the Blue Iris official website or by clicking here.
Before proceeding, please make sure your Wi-Fi device has RTSP enabled and ready to go in the AMLINK Pro app. Copy and send this information if needed so you can add it into the Blue Iris software. For more information on how to enable RTSP on your device, click here.
There are 2 ways to add a camera into Blue Iris 5. You can right click on the main menu, or click on the settings menu ( )in the top-left corner of the interface.
Step 1: Right-click on the main interface or click on the settings menu () to access the "New camera" menu. Give your camera a name, a short name (for URLs and filenames), choose a type (Network IP), and enable any options such as, enabling audio, motion detection, etc. Click OK to continue.
Step 2: Select AMLINK Security as the Make. Enter the camera's IP address and RTSP password (admin123), into their respective fields. Enter the proper source path into the Main stream profiles which are /live1 or /live0 depending on the RTSP stream URL, and click OK.
The camera has now been added to Blue Iris.
