Amcrest cameras can be added into your AMLINK NVR the Amcrest protocol. Please note, when adding third-party cameras into the NVR, options such as IVS and other options may be limited. Before proceeding, make sure your Amcrest camera is initialized and on the same network while adding it to the NVR.
Step 1: Open a web browser and log into your device. For more information on how to access the web user interface (web UI) for your device, click here.
Step 2: Click on Camera and access the Camera Registration menu.
Step 3: Click Search Device, select your devices from the device list and click Add. The NVR will add the camera using the Amcrest protocol.
Step 4: In the Edit menu, enter the password for your camera and click OK. Verify the connection status, the status should be green indicating the device is successfully connected to the AMLINK NVR. If it is red, please make sure to verify the camera's password in the modify menu.
