The live feed for your device will be set to substream by default in the live view menu. This is mainly due to to balancing mobile network constraints and hardware processing power when initially accessing your device. Because mobile apps are often used on cellular data or unstable Wi-Fi networks, initializing a live view layout with multiple high-bandwidth video streams can easily lead to severe lag, frame drops, or app crashes.
However, the mainstream feed can be manually accessed in the live view menu. To access the mainstream feed, please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Open the AMLINK Pro app and access your device. You will notice it is in D1 stream. Tap D1.
Step 2: Select the highest resolution depending on your device.
Step 3: The new resolution will be displayed in the interface indicating it has switched to mainstream.
