A tour is a predefined sequence of camera movements and views. This is particularly useful for patrolling areas or monitoring multiple locations within a surveillance system. AMLINK NVRs offer a convenient way that allows you to set up tours directly from the device itself eliminating the need for additional software or apps. For more information on how to set up a tour using your AMLINK NVR please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Log into the NVR directly or using the NVR's web user interface (web UI) using a web browser. For more information on how to access the web UI for your device, click here.
Step 2: Open the System option, select Display, access the Auto Switch menu, and enable this option.
Note: The duration of the tour can be modified in the "Switch Every" menu.
Step 3: Select a layout, by default it will be 2x2 however other layout options can be selected as well if needed. Once a layout has been selected click the Edit icon in the Operations menu to set the applicable channels for the tour. For instance, in the image below we are having the NVR tour channels 2, 3, 7, and 6 every 5 seconds.
The process can be set for the remaining channels as well for the remaining channel group.
Step 4: Click Apply to save the tour settings. The selected channels will have a tour icon on the local UI indicating a tour is applied and running on your NVR.
