The area detection option allows you to draw a virtual boundary on your camera's live view that triggers an alert or recording whenever a person or vehicle crosses it in a specific direction. While this is a compatible feature for your device setting an area detection event will require you to initially set the detection area using the device's web user interface in a web browser. Step 1: Once the area detection rule has been set in the browser, open the AMLINK Pro mobile app and access the detection settings for your device and select IVS Settings.
Note: If using an NVR, open the NVR in the app and tap the settings icon ( ), select a channel, and tap Detection Settings.
Step 2: The area detection rule you set in the browser will be displayed in the interface.
Use the provided toggle switches to enable or disable this function. To delete this rule, select the rule and slide left to display the delete icon. Tap this icon to remove the rule if needed.
