The line crossing option allows you to draw a virtual boundary on your camera's live view that triggers an alert or recording whenever a person or vehicle crosses it in a specific direction. Step 1: Open the app locate the device and tap General.
Step 2: Tap Detection Settings.
Step 3: Select IVS Settings, enable IVS, and tap the "+" option
Note: If HVD is enabled IVS will conflict with these settings. The app will automatically disable HVD to enable IVS.

Step 5: Enable the Line Crossing Detection option and tap Line Setting.
Step 6: Delete the default detection and use your finger on the interface to draw a detection line on the screen, Tap the checkmark option to save the detection line. Multiple detection lines can be used if needed. Once the detection line is saved, tap the back arrow to return to the previous interface.
Step 7: Set the line crossing detection rule by tapping the Crossing Detection option. For instance, in this example the object can cross either way (A<->B) to trigger the rule.
Note: An alarm sound (siren) or warning light can be set as well that will trigger an active deterrent once the event has been triggered. Tap the back arrow after setting the rule to exit.
Step 8: The Line Crossing rule has been applied. To make any modification or edit the rule tap the Configuration option if needed.
