The Search menu serves as the primary interface for locating and reviewing recorded video footage stored on the system's hard drives. It can be used to filter and view specific recordings such as motion detection, continuous, or IVS recordings. Step 1: Log into the NVR directly or using the NVR's web user interface (web UI). For more information on how to access the web UI for your device, click here.
Step 2: Click the Search.
Step 3: Enter the start and end time of the events you want to view and set a file path for the recordings. The recordings will download to this path. Please make sure the plugin is installed which will allow you to set a file path. Select a specific channel if needed, and click on Event Type.
This will provide you options to filter and view different recordings. For instance, if we select IVS, the interface will only show IVS recordings that were captured on the specific start and end times chosen.
Step 4: Click Search to view a list of the recordings. To play the recording, press the Play button to view. To download the recording, select the recording and click Download. The recording will download as a .mp4 to your computer or file path chosen in the interface.
