This article highlights how to properly format a hard drive on an AMLINK NVR. To format the hard drive, you will need to access the user interface (web UI) for your device via laptop or PC. Step 1: Open a web browser and log into your device. For more information on how to access the web user interface (web UI) for your device, click here.
Step 2: Navigate to Storage>>Disk Management. Select the hard drive you want to format in the interface and click Format.
After the hard drive is formatted all data/recordings etc. will be removed from the drive. The status will also be normal indicating its ready for use in your NVR.
