A recording schedule is used to allow the device to detect and record events only at specified times of the day. By default, these features will be set to record 24/7, however for more information on how to configure a recording schedule, please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Log into the NVR directly or using the NVR's web user interface (web UI). For more information on how to access the web UI for your device, click here.
Step 2: Click on Storage and select Schedule. The Video tab is for video recordings and the Snapshot tab is for event snapshots. By default, All Type (24/7) will be activated, however, to modify the NVR to only record when an event occurs, click the Event Only option. Select the channel you want the schedule to apply to then click the Clear option to begin modifying the schedule.
Step 3: The schedule is set with days of the week on the side and the hours of the day on top. In this example, we will be setting the NVR to record events only between 6am and 6pm (18:00) throughout the week. Use your mouse to set the schedule time for the desired days.
The same concept can be applied to other record types. If you would like to apply this schedule to other channels on your device, click the Copy button and select the channels you would like to set for this schedule.
