This camera uses an advanced algorithm to detect both humans and vehicles within a scene and send an alert only when a person or vehicle is detected. However, if you would like to have the camera only detect when a vehicle is detected, please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Log in to the web user interface (web UI) for your camera. For more information on how to access the web UI for your camera click here.
Step 2: Click on Settings>>Event>>General Settings>>Motion Detection and click Enable.
Step 3: Ensure the HVD option is on and disable the Human option to set the camera to only detect vehicles. Click Apply.
Note: If you would like a snapshot of the event emailed to you once it has been detected by the camera, click on the Send Email. Please make sure email setup is established in the camera before enabling the send email option. For more information on how to set up email notifications, click here.
